Everyday across the country, healthcare is provided in many clinical settings and environments.  Likewise, the healthcare landscape is complicated as it evolves at an ever-quickening pace with new specialties, titles and tools.  Coupled with the growing demands placed on clinicians and healthcare leaders, how do we ensure the safety of our patients?  Join us for this collaborative opportunity to learn with other providers across the continuum of care how patient safety can be improved.

This one-of-a-kind, hands-on workshop offers vital patient safety information in TED-talk format:

  • the importance of improving your safety culture
  • moving from a punitive to learning environment
  • the value of reporting mistakes and how we can learn from them
  • leadership’s role in patient safety
  • and much more

In addition, Drs. Jake Keeperman and Scott Bourn will provide a clinical focus on respiratory compromise, including identification and appropriate interventions. No matter your clinical setting, at the completion of this workshop, you will have a better understanding of the cultural components necessary for patient safety and a clinical understanding of respiratory compromise.

Designed for those who take safety seriously in LTC, home care, hospitals, EMS, medical offices, pharmacies, etc. The Patient Safety Forum is a must for healthcare leaders, educators and others who have a passion for safety.
