June 27 Webcast, Prepare for September 2013 Suicide Awareness Prevention Day

“Everyone Plays a Role in Suicide Prevention: Turning Strategy into Action” – Webcast, June 27, 2013, 9-11 am

Webcast participants will experience a live session from Northwestern University in Chicago, hosted by Region V of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, featuring national leaders and experts in suicide prevention to chart a course towards awareness, engagement, and mobilization.   The Webcast will kick off “75 Days of Action” to put plans into action and begin to dramatically reduce suicides by National Suicide Awareness Day on September 10, 2013. The session is available at community locations or “echo sites” around Missouri.   There will be an opportunity to engage in dialogue to develop an action plan to reduce incidents of suicide in your community after the webcast with a moderator and other professionals and community members.   Registration as an echo site and listing of echo sites are available at  http://www.blsmeetings.net/EveryonePlaysARole/index.cfm.
