The Discovery Channel will premiere on Saturday, April 29,  Surfing the Healthcare Tsunami: Bring Your Best Board, the second in a series of patient-safety documentaries developed by the Texas Medical Institute of Technology’s Safety Leaders program. According to TMIT, the documentary highlights best practices from hospitals including the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Vanderbilt Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Medicine and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
